Who in the world takes a song, a fun classic tune like “Daydream Believer,” and turns it into a rainbow-sherbet colored collection?! WE DO! Or we DID. This entire Spring season was such a (day)dream come true to me. And I’m certain it was for Ashley, too. There’s just something about designing a Spring line that gives you butterflies! Butterflies that keep you floating long after the styles have released…

Let’s take a stroll down lovely memory lane, shall we?

Daydream Believer, you started off in shades of milky blues, pastel corals, and lavenders, all balanced by a soft, crisp chambray. I had never been to Charleston before, but the moment Caroline, our Creative Director, showed us Rainbow Row, I knew exactly where we would be pulling inspiration from! This picture-perfect city is covered in the sweetest colors and the cutest shops. I got to see this first hand last month for Caroline’s bachelorette party (she’s getting married in November, woo hoo!) Spring 2019 also brought us our first boys outfits and more options for mama to wear! It was so exciting to get to come up with picture perfect looks for *almost* the whole family!

For the second release, Ashley and I decided to pack our bags (metaphorically speaking) and head to spring break…the most wonderful time of the school year if you’re a kid! Ash and I both had very different childhoods, so we both had pretty different versions of what spring break looked like in our head. She was used to the beach, and fun in the sun, and I was used to backyard adventures and sleepovers at my Grandma Mac’s! We tried our best to bottle up all these memories in the colors, fabrics, and styles of our biggest release of the season!

Spring Celebrations were on our mind when we began release 3! I mean, what’s better than dreaming up a big ol’ birthday party filled with all your favorite things?! Nothing I tell ya! So that’s what we did…complete with jars of butterflies, rockin’ roller-skates, sweet elephants, bunches of balloons, ice cream cones, and more!

Last but not least, the Star-spangled 4th and final release of Daydream Believer blew us away with red, white, and CUTENESS! I never thought it could be so fun playing with such a classic color combination, but finding our own unique spin for it was truly a treat. And of course finding just the right novelties to take your gals from Spring to Summer was the best way to end a magical season. Plus these colors were a perfect transition to our back-to-school release coming in July, but I’m getting ahead of myself! (I’ll save that for the NEXT blog!)

Daydream Believer is only our second spring collection, ever. Isn’t that crazy!? I feel like we’ve been doing this forever! AND it was the first collection I designed with Ashley from start to finish. It’s crazy how much can change in so little time! I never knew I’d find a gal like her to design with, to dream with! With Ashley by my side, I felt confident to try a ton of new things this year. I mean, two swim releases?! Dozens of new styles?! Plus more novelties AND COLORS than I can count!? (I’m a designer, not a mathematician OKAY!)  We discovered more of what you guys love and want to see from Wildflowers. Because, if you don’t try a bunch of new things, then how are we gonna learn?! And goodness knows, a wildflower’s gotta GROW.

And that’s what we’re doing. Growing and changing, implementing more ways to get feedback on design, and always, always keeping our ears and eyes open to what y’all are saying. Each season we learn something new, and I feel like a superhero ready to charge into the next batch of designs, equipped with my newfound knowledge! (Like, this week we’re starting Spring 2020 and I have SO MANY IDEAS on how to combine the great stuff from Best Day Ever and Daydream Believer to make the ULTIMATE SPRING COLLECTION…more on that later.)

So while we’re keeping our ears and our eyes open, maybe y’all can send us a few of your ideas and inspirations?! Like…what styles, color, prints do you hope to see in Spring 2020? You know we LOVE designing whatever pops into our brains…but we love even more giving y’all exactly what you want the most! (For example, starting this Fall we have more baby sizes, size 16, and MORE)! Comment below with what you’d love to see from us for Spring!

I’d love to see more baby options with sister sets. Also, I adore bubbles but prefer a more conservative style. Open sides and backs just don’t work for our family and southern heat makes layering unrealistic in the summer!

Spring 2020 I would love to see more tweener friendly styles; athletic wear and shorties without ruffles.
Theme ideas; going on vacation, traveling, camping and summer fairs.
Fall 2020 2-3 pieces whimsical for Halloween and non-traditional holiday colors; like royal blue and silver- a hooded sweatshirt with faux white fur around the hood perhaps?
I would love to see dancewear too!
    Keep the great ideas coming!
    So in love with Wildflowers!!

Bubbles. Oh, I love WF bubbles! The bunny bubble from spring 2018 was my “gateway drug” to all things WF! Ha! I even bought it again this spring in a bigger size just so Bonnie could wear it another year!

And I love that your smaller size bathing suits have snaps for easy diaper changes/quick potty breaks. Thank you for that!

As far as prints, I love bees! Gimme allllll the bees! So I would love to see more bees.

As far as clothing style/details: I’m a sucker for Peter Pan collars. I love all things vintage.

As far as colors, Good Hart, Paint by Numbers, and Serendipity were all my favorite collections/colorways.

Thank you for these beautiful clothes, Sam. Bonnie (1.5), Mary Margaret (10.5), and I love wearing your clothes. And now their brothers Moseby (7) and Lawson (3.5) wear them too. You dress our whole family (minus their dad, hehe) daily. In fact, I’m wearing the dark green mama shorts as I type this. Thank you for all you do!

I’d love a blanket available for purchase or a
bonus if you spend a certain amount. I also love that the baby rompers go up to size 4. Please keep making them that way!

We’d love PJs, a tween line, and more womens styles! Also would love more available stock for those cute one piece romper style swimsuits..our size always sells out! Continue with those cute baseball caps—those are so fun! Would be great to have a monthly promo for us regular buyers! More purses, and perhaps a backpack for fall? Cactus print would be fun for next spring! We sported Wildflowers during our Spring Break in Arizona so dessert flowers/cactus patterns came to mind! Loved the Heidi Playground dress so much too….the colors and softness were perfect; Also would love some kitty prints! We love Wildflowers, the colors, patterns, details, pockets! Amazing job! Keep it up ladies!

My daughter’s favorite dress from Release 4 was the so so soft Heidi Rose playground dress…she didnt want to take it off. Pajamas and maybe a blanket would be absolutely lovely too!! You two are knocking it out of the park!!

I loved Daydream Believer! For next year, remember us up north who don’t get warm weather until June. Some things we could layer but others my daughter didn’t get to enjoy until this week!

One release month theme idea – TGIF. Like sleepovers, pizza, makeup, nail polish, phones, movies. All those fun things you do with your friends on the weekends when you’re a kid!

I loved the swim separates, that was the best. I would like to see more playground friendly styles, tops/shorts/capris. I love all the dress styles, especially the Rylan dress I would love to see pink/navy, purples, teal. I really love the attention to detail that Wildflowers put into their clothing. The mixed patterns, buttons, trim, and the pockets. I am OBSESSED.

I agree with more tween styles. Like MJ’s 435 stuff. For Spring, I LOVE pastels! For Fall, it has to be pumpkin colors! Christmas, I like non traditional colors like teal and pink! Keep up the great work! We love Wildflowers’!!!

Will like to see more tween friendly styles since my picky 10 yr old thinks she’s too cool for ruffles. We love everything about Wildflowers ❤️❤️
