Bold + Bright

How is it possible that our 4th and final release of Daydream Believer is already here? What a firework show, right!? The splashes of aqua, red, white, and blue, combined with a whole slew of new summery silhouettes put stars in our eyes! Inspiration was pretty easy this time around, we decided to lean into the most classic color palette around, and add our own flair to make some true Wildflowers magic!

Bold stripes, bright hues, and brave hearts- that’s the motto for this star-spangled release! From our Americana Dress that has all of the spirit of the season sewn into the seams of it’s flippy, tiered skirt to the Sandbox Ballet Dress with it’s henley placket and sparkling trim, there’s something for every girl to fall in love with! Like the 3 darling dresses above on Lily, Avery, and Sydney, you’ll find a picture perfect photo showcasing some of our latest, greatest pieces!

Oh Olivia, one of the coolest chicks around! She’s rocking our Cool Kid Casey Dress— a soft knit dress sprinkled in super cute sunnies that will have your gal feeling totally ‘spec’tacular! Festive flutter sleeves and a swingy circle skirt ready to twirl, this was the perfect style to show off the more playful side of the Americana color palette!

We’re sooo ecstatic to see your cuties sporting these looks for 4th of July and maybe even just in time for a Mother’s Day cook out!? We know a certain little nugget that will surely be dressed in her Wildflowers best this Sunday! (She is OBSESSED with the Cutie Pie Bubble and always points to the cupcakes and says “noms!”)

In honor of this Mother’s Day, let’s do a blog contest! Tell us your favorite part of being a mother! We’ll pick a few winners next week for a prize!

XO,

SAM AND ASHLEY

My favorite part of being a mom – bedtime! 🤣 Just kidding! In all seriousness one of my favorite parts of being a mom is the laughter and humor that my daughter has brought into our life. I love to hear and watch her laugh. That bottom of your belly laugh. Laughing with her friends, laughing at her daddy, laughing at me, laughing at herself, it warms my heart. I will stand on my head and do some embarrassing stuff just to hear her laugh. That laugh can cure just about anything! There are a million reasons why I love being a mom but the sound of that sweet laugh and the pure joy my girl has given me are two of the favorites. 😊

I’ve been a mom for almost 18 years. My oldest will be a senior next year and my youngest will start MDO three days a week. Our middle daughter will begin middle school and our middle son will be in pre-school. This may be the first time in recent memory I’ll have days without a child by my side. I’ll miss that the most. I am a caregiver by nature and have found my place in life as a mom and homemaker. I spent time and money for a degree (speech pathology) that I only used briefly but the real education in my life has come at the hands of my children. I strive to be a softer, kinder, more generous me everyday for them and because of them. Watching them grow, even as I let them go, is my favorite part of being a mom.

Motherhood starts as a dream- a wish for warm snuggles, abundant joy, and the perfection of a healthy, beautiful child. But motherhood has an intensity and imperfection that disrupts the dream. A medical diagnosis, academic or social struggles, just the pain of growing up and making mistakes. I think in those struggles is the real gift of motherhood: a strength and determination you didn’t know you possessed. So that’s my answer- learning my own strength and knowing I will do what it takes to care for these amazing creatures entrusted to me.

I am a mother of a 4 year old girl, 2 year old boy, and 4 month old boy so I have my hands full! Little moments in life like my daughter hitting the ball at her t-ball game and looking to make sure mommy is cheering her on, my two year old little boy quoting almost word for word “little excavator” because I have read it to him so many times at bedtime, and watching my four month old cackle when his brother and sister talk to him are a few of my favorite parts about being a mother❤️ Happy Mother’s Day!!

I love that my kids are teaching ME things everyday. A neighbors yard full of weeds that I’ve thought is an eyesore – nope! My daughter tells me – they are so lucky to have a yard full of (dandelion) wishes. Finding joy in the little things is something we sometimes forget as adults. Beyond lucky to have my two girls.

What I love most about being a mother is it’s the most rewarding job . I’m so proud of all of my girls . I have 4 girls . They are all different in their own ways . I love eating at the dinner table every night hearing about their day . I love our summertime together . Being a stay at home mom is wonderful . And I’m so very thankful . I love dressing my little girl in all the pretty Wildflowers and look forward to each release . Thank you for all your hard work in designing all these pretty clothes for the little ones and us mamas too .

The best part of being a mom…it’s hard to narrow it down, but I think being, “The Person,” for my kids is the absolute best. It’s so exhausting and wonderful at the same time. I love hearing their stories about their day. I love being the one they look for when they achieve something big, or when they’re hurting. Feeling their arms squeeze my neck is a balm to my soul.

So hard to narrow it down, but my favorite part of being a mother is watching my child grow into the person that God made her to be. Her personality, her self-confidence and determination, her ambition… I’m continually amazed at all that she is, and that she is mine. She’s my perfect gift from an awesome God.

So sweet! Love all the cuteness this release. My favorite part of being a mother…how can I decide? There are hard times, don’t get me wrong, but I love being a mom. I think my favorite is when my kids surprise me with unexpected sweetness…like when my eldest surprised me with caramel rolls for my birthday earlier this week, even though it meant she sacrificed much-needed sleep to do so. Or when my son would come in and give me a hug when I was volunteering at the media center at his school. Or when my youngest surprised me with a scavenger hunt completely designed by her, resulting in birthday balloons. These are some of the moments I cherish!

My favorite part of being a mom (right now) is watching my kids sleep. They are so peaceful. My husband says we don’t need the video monitors anymore but I just love to watch them sleep. There really isn’t a moment that I try not to be present for, but being able to watch the world through a childs eyes is something magical. You not only feel but get to see the emtions as they develop. Like watching them on Christmas morning, that pure unbiased belief that Santa did come or the gut wrenching pain of feeling their first loss. The world can be cold and unforgiving but being a mother is my greatest joy. All children are a true blessing and should be showered with love and guidance. Thank you, Sam for always creating such a beautiful collection each season to help mother’s maintain the innocence of being a little girl. It takes a village and as mothers we all need to be supportive of those that truly want the best for all children.

My favorite part of being a mom would be the street cred to be able to get breakfast in bed most weekends, snuggles are also a plus of being a mom and how resilient and tough being a mom has made me as well as some mad zen patience and perspective I didn’t realize I would need. Being a mom definitely requires some super woman powers.

The best part of being a mother is getting a front row seat to watch a tiny little scrap of a human grow and develop into an adult. From their first cry, to their first twirl in a beautiful outfit, to their first day of school and beyond. Taking care of someone who is completely dependent on you for every single thing and helping them grow into a self-sufficient adult who only needs you for love and a bit of emotional support from time to time is an incredible privilege and responsibility. Being a part of that process for my three kiddos, with all of its joy and heartache, is the best gift I could ever ask for.

The title of being “The Mother” entails SO much.. I’m the Dr when placing bandaids on booboos., I’m the chef when their tummies are rumbling.. I’m the referee when play has turned into chaos.. I’m the shoulder to cry on when those tiny hearts are aching & I wouldn’t trade this title for ANYTHING!! 💕

Well first of all. Let me tell you something- having a 13 year old boy child is life when you can’t figure out how to work the interwebs(or things like this blog) so HiphipHooray for motherhood! What’s not to love? You get to love and hold little tiny versions of you. Sometimes it’s frightening, but always incredible. Dirty Diapers, scraped knees, closets full of clothes they’ll never wear, their first steps, first smiles, the first time they bite you while nursing, student of the months, first failed spelling test, all of it- it is all so rewarding! I love every single thing about it!
